My Dog is Part Jack Russel and Part Devil
About a year ago, I purchased a dog for my fiance. The dog was really cool looking as a puppy, well he still is a puppy, but an older version of himself. Anyway, the dog has evolved into something that is literally not of this world. He just has so much energy, it is just ridiculous. He is really smart too. I feel bad because even tho I got it for my fiance, he stays at my house because I have the space, I don't have the time for him that he really needs. He needs to be out chasing tennis balls and Frisbee.

I used to work in a pet store, and those little guys can be quite the handful! That breed is born with caffeine naturally flowing through their bodies. Have you ever tried occupying treats? They make it so the dog gets a treat, but they really have to work at it to get it. It may not make them tired, but it will keep them really busy!
ReplyDeleteYes puppies are a lot of work! I have had some puppies with so much energy it is literally like having another kid. It is funny to mention but they actually have some places like a daycare for pets where they give them all the attention and even train them or groom them as well. Maybe you should consider placing him at one of these places so he gets all the attention throughout the day. good luck!
ReplyDeleteYour story sounds very similar to mine. I bought my puppy with my boyfriend at the time and she was soo cute as a puppy. I did not know much about Min Pins but liked that she would never be too big and could live in an apartment. She was very good and quiet at first but now I think it was because she was scared of her new home. Now she is a handful. I cannot train her to save my life. She gets into everything and looks at me when she gets in trouble with almost a smile on her face. It is soo frustrating!! This cute little puppy has turned into a nightmare but I could never get rid of her. Hopefully it will get better for you, thats what I tell myself.
