House of Cards!!!
Has anyone seen House of Cards? It is an original series from Netflix. Netflix has really stepped up their streaming content game since the company first happened. I remember when you had the option to rent DVD's from Netflix. Anyway, House of Cards is pretty, pretty good this season. Don't worry, don't worry, I won't be dropping any spoilers, but seriously during our Spring break, try and watch a couple of episodes, but start from season 1, otherwise you will not fully understand the plot.

I almosted posted about this on my blog. This has been my go to ever since the new season has came on. I was surprised that it was this good when I first watched it and have been hooked ever since. What other shows do you recommend? If you get a chance watch the movie Chef, makes me want to go open up a taco truck!
ReplyDeleteI am on Season two of house of cards. I wanted to work in congress but, after seeing the first season i didnt want to be in congress anymore.
ReplyDeleteFinished the 3rd season two days after it came out! That show is one of the best thing I have ever seen on television. Can't wait for Netflix to start bringing out more high budget shows! It is a really nice slap in cable companies faces who charge so much when usually we only end up watching 5, maybe 6, channels out of the entire package.
ReplyDeleteOh I love House of Cards!! Everytime I watch the show it makes me want to go to capital hill and walk around and sit in on a few discussions. It makes me want to start lobbying for personal interests of mine and try and make a difference in the country. The show also creeps me out because I wonder how much of it is based on facts with the deals and blackmailing that occurs to help people's political agenda.
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen House of Cards but literally everyone I know has recommended it. I've read over the summary a couple times for the seasons and thought it was interesting but I'm going to be honest, and say that I'm just not a huge fan of TV shows about government. I've come to the belief that TC shows regarding government just upset me, because they usually just spew one opinion or the other or even try to scare you into believing one thing. I'm all for right to free speech and having your own opinions, but I just really don't want to hear about them through a TV show or characters that are just reading scripts. It sounds like a lot of people enjoy it though.
